Teachers all over the world have developed different ways to teach Maths successfully in order to raise standards of achievement.

This website brings together many of these tried and tested ideas. We hope teachers everywhere will use the ideas in this blog to help Students increase their mathematical knowledge and skills.

What are the aims of this blog.

I hope this blog will
• find new and successful ways of teaching maths
• make maths more interesting and more relevant to their students

The Activities cover

Reading Numbers

We providing the picture for Reading number activity to the kids. Each image has basic numbers with objects and animals. This activity is to start read the numbers but the kids mind is not in computing the numbers. Once the kids capable of reading the numbers then they can start count the numbers that is they can compute the numbers for mathematical operation.

Once the kids capable of reading the numbers then they can start count the numbers that is they can compute the numbers for mathematical operation.

Ordering Numbers

Ordering Numbers is the ability to immediately state the number that comes after and before any given number from 0 – 9 is a necessary skill for learning the “plus-1 facts”.

Teaching methods

There are  different activities in this blog which parents and teacher can use to help vary their teaching methods and to promote students’ understanding of maths. The activities cover a wide rangeof mathematical topics.Mathematics can be taught using a step-by-step approach to a topic.

Games

Using games can make mathematics classes very enjoyable, exciting and interesting.

Mathematical games provide opportunities for students to be actively involved in learning. Games allow students to experience success and satisfaction, thereby building their enthusiasm and self-confidence. The given activities such Missing Numbers, Hide out Numbers are somehow allow the student enjoy the learning.

Our blog designed to learn maths in a systematic approach. We suggest that you try the activities yourself before you use them for the kids. You might like todiscuss them with a colleague or try out the activity on a small group of students.

Planning content

• Plan the content to be taught. Check up any points you are not sure of. Decide how much content you will cover in the session.
